The 2008 Telugu film King starring Nagarjuna, Trisha Krishnan, Arjan Bajwa, Madhu Shalini and Mamta Mohandas, was directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy. The film had special appearances by Anushka Shetty, Charmy Kaur, Genelia D'Souza, Kamna Jethmalani, Priyamani, and Sneha Ullal, during a song sequence, which the producers perhaps wanted to make as the high-point of star value, as is now-a-days usual in some films, but critics say its was similar in concept as Deewangi Deewangi from the Shah Rukh Khan film Om Shanti Om.
